2008 is finally here as we happily bid 2007 a not so fond farewell. With the Central Florida Real Estate market having one of it's worst years in recent history, 2008 appears to be starting out on a much brighter note. Median prices dropped dramatically in December from $235,000 to $223,000. This indicates a sudden drop in the overall prices of homes in the Central Florida Market, and is seen as a positive step toward more sales. Total monthly closings have been hovering around the 950-975 units mark for the past few months where December closings climbed over the 1,000 mark .
At Amerivest Realty of Central Florida, 2008 promises to be a totally different year. Mark Eller President and CEO, is taking a much more focused approach to establishing his franchise in the Central Florida market. A major concentration on market share throughout the area from Lake Nona north to Sanford is planned for this year. The addition of a new Lake Mary office located in the Legacy Office Center at 3258 Lake Mary Blvd. promises to be an inviting and unique experience for those in the real estate industry and their customers, as it will feature a full service Cafe/Business Center. Members of the real estate community, agents, lenders etc. will be able to meet their clients in the warm surroundings of a full service coffee bar while they search for properties with clients. The Cosmopolitan Cafe is the long time dream of Nicole Daruszka, owner of Cosmopolitan Title and plans to be in full operation sometime in February.
Amerivest Realty of Central Florida's plan to increase market share is a two fold plan of determining which agents in the market fit the mold of the Amerivest Realty agent, one of Integrity, Understanding of Customer Service, independence, willingness to accept technology and looking for higher commissions. Creating market share through the use of the World Wide Web is the other half of the formula for a successful future at Amerivest Realty using the vast array of technology available to Amerivest Realty agents to position them higher on the internet without the high cost of pay-per-click. Technology such as "Seller's Advantage", a complete marketing program that includes unlimited, narrated virtual tours, e-magazines, color fliers, toll free customer access to listing information, Google Video, You Tube video, as well as many other tools for monitoring internet "hits" on the agent's tours.
With the fallout of many agents in the Central Florida market due to the collapse in sales, Amerivest Realty of Central Florida is high above the average of agents who have decided to stick it out. Agents with Amerivest Realty of Central Florida have seen many positive changes in the 100% commission programs including a low $125 per month membership fee along with an entire list of technology options to pick and choose from. Yearly caps have been lowered to only $5,000, meaning that once you've reached this amount that you have paid Amerivest Realty of Central Florida throughout the entire year, you pay no more.
Bottom line, Amerivest Realty of Central Florida is poised to greatly improve its market share throughout the Winter Park and Lake Mary areas and agents with Amerivest Realty are poised for greater success.
